I’ve been back in Miami since 27 December and am having a lot of fun. I’ve
met up with several friends, some of which I hadn’t seen in five years. I’ll
be back in Germany at 23h30 on 2 January for 36 hours, then I’m off to
Barcelona for five days.
Tidal Wave
A tidal wave as large as 5 metres swept across Asia this morning inundating places that I visited last year like Koh Phi Phi, Patong and Karon beaches in Phuket and Ao Nang in Krabi. My original plan was to return to Thailand this winter for my holiday, but I came to the US instead. Suddenly the cloudy and unusually cold weather of Florida doesn’t seem to be so bad. Here’s a link for you (ignore the part where it says that 1,600 km = 91,000 miles, it’s acutally only 1,000 miles).
A holiday greeting
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, (insert holiday here).
